What to do if you suspect you or someone you know has Covid-19

Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms should stay at home and take a Rapid antigen test (RAT). RATs are currently Aotearoa New Zealand’s primary testing tool for COVID-19. RATs are easy to perform, and results are usually quick. If your RAT result is negative but your symptoms continue or worsen, continue to stay at home and take a further test.

If you test positive for covid you may be eligible for anti-viral medication, that will help lessen the symptoms of covid. Please call the pharmacy (04) 5285 858 to discuss with a pharmacist.

To protect pharmacy staff and the community, if you test positive for covid please do not come into the pharmacy. If you require further RAT tests, or over the counter products for symptom relief, and don’t have anyone to collect these for you, please call the pharmacy.
